"We Are" is a positivity project that started with a song I wrote about diversity, oneness, individuality, harmony, equality, love, peace, grace, and life. The song lyrics are below. Now we are in the process of recording the song and creating a music video to express these truths across the world. Our hope is that people will hear the song, see the video, and spread love and abundant peace to each and every soul. "We are" sprang from the concept that when two or more are present, there is a "we," a universal "we" in the sense that a person is a "we" regardless of whether that person actually connects with or feels a connection to the other person. The concept of "we-ness" promotes peace and loving kindness toward each and every person we meet, regardless of race, gender, creed, color, religion, age, or sexual orientation. The bottom line is that "we" all can make a choice to treat others with grace and kindness.
YOU (and your collective "we's") can be a part of this project in a couple of ways. If you would like to be in the music video, you can start by sending me your photos - pictures of you and/or your friends that express who you are as an individual, or that show diversity, love, kindness, in some form or another. The higher quality your photos, the better. Please also keep in mind that our intention is for this project to go "viral," meaning that people of all ages and backgrounds will be watching it. Basically, if you would show it to your grandma, we will likely accept it for consideration. You can email the photos to renawren@yahoo.com with "We Are" in the subject line. Please be sure to also include your name and contact information and a statement that you agree to your submitted photo being used in the project. Soon, we will have the song available in .mp3 format that you can use to create your own video to submit to be considered for use in the project as well.
